Aluminum grating is a new type of platform material. It uses aluminium alloy material to form a net-like integral structure through rod piercing and extrusion. It has the advantages of light weight, beautiful appearance, corrosion resistance and high strength. It is widely used in marine engineering, architectural decoration and other industries. Aluminum gratings are generally made of 6063 Aluminium alloy, or 6061 or 6082.
Aluminium gratings can be manufactured with a variety of bearing bars. including rectangular section and I-shaped section. The surface of rectangular section can be flat or serrated. The strength of aluminium grating with I-shaped section and rectangular section with the same height is unchanged, but the weight is lighter and more economical.

SG indicates that the bearing bar section is rectangular, SGI indicates that the bearing bar section is I-shaped.
19-SG-4 1-1/4”X3/16” and 19-SGI-4 1-1/4”x1/4” are the most commonly used specifications. The maximum size can be 288”x48”
